Who we are

East Mids Energy (eastmidsenergy.co.uk) is run by Scott Humphris, a UK sole trader based in Nottinghamshire. Contact: [email protected]. Day-to-day directory help is handled by Ellis Ward ([email protected]), the directory assistant persona.

What this directory is

An independent listing of OZEV-authorised home EV chargepoint installers based in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Staffordshire. We are not affiliated with OZEV, the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles, or GOV.UK. Listings are not endorsements — always check certification with the scheme before you hire.

Methodology and data sources

We publish what we can verify from public sources, with links so you can check the originals:

• Installer listings — GOV.UK OZEV chargepoint installer finder. Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
• Postcodes and places — postcodes.io (ONS/OS data, OGL).
• EV Charging Index — Department for Transport EV charging device statistics, summarised on our East Midlands EV Charging Index with a CSV download.
• Guides — cite primary sources on GOV.UK and legislation.gov.uk, with last-checked dates on each page.

How listings are verified

Listings are sourced from the public OZEV register. Installers can claim, correct or remove their entry via the claim page or by email. We may update a listing when an installer asks, but we do not invent certifications. Always verify authorisation with the scheme before hiring.

Featured and sponsored listings

Paid featured slots are labelled Sponsored on the page. They do not change who appears in the free directory or the underlying OZEV data. Details: For installers.

What we don't do

• We do not publish MCS data on public pages.
• We do not invent reviews or star ratings.
• We do not sell paid links or hide sponsorship.
